Frankie Howerd DVDs to be won

An obscure Frankie Howerd cult film is to be released on DVD next week, and we have five copies to give away.

The kitsch 1973 Ealing comedy The House In Nightmare Park is a spoof of the Hammer-style horrors of the Seventies – and has attracted only five-star reviews on Amazon.

In it, Howerd stars as Foster Twelvetrees, a struggling actor who scrapes a living by giving hammy performances from the classics. But when he’s invited to give a dramatic reading at the country home of a well-off family he discovers dead bodies, snakes and a madwoman in the attic. Can he uncover the hidden family secret before he comes to a terrible end?
