'Beware tickets scam'

Festival issues warning

Festival organisers have warned comedy fans to be wary of fake ticket scams.

They say several dodgy dealers have been reported to them and urged: ‘Do not give credit card details to callers claiming to have cheap tickets for comedy festival shows.’

Genuine tickets are sold through Ticketmaster, Ticketek or the websites of the comedy festival or the Trades Hall venue.
