Huge haul of comedy goodies up for grabs

We’ve got a bumper batch of comedy goodies to give away this week, just in time for Christmas.

Our first prize winner will win six different DVDs and two books, while eight runners-up will each receive one the titles selected at random.

The new releases all come courtesy of Avalon, the leading comedy agency and independent TV production company, and are:

Frank Skinner Stand-Up: DVD of his return to the stage after a decade, recorded on home turf at the Birmingham NIA

Russell Howard Live: The first stand-up DVD from the lively Mock The Week star

Al Murray’s Happy Hour Series One: Featuring the Pub Landlord’s unique interviews with the likes of Donny Osmond, Buzz Aldrin, Jodie Kidd, Jason Donovan and Louis Walsh.

Harry Hill’s TV Burp Gold: The first DVD selection of clips, sketches and gags from the hugely popular ITV series.

Three Men In A Boat & Three Men In Another Boat: Dara O Briain, Rory McGrath and Griff Rhys Jones retrace the Thames journey made famous by Jerome K Jerome; and in the follow-up DVD they attempt a voyage along England’s south coast.

Grumpy Old Women Live: Jenny Éclair, Dillie Keane and Linda Robson take to the stage of the Richmond Theatre to get a few moans off their chest…

Frank Skinner On The Road: A new volume of memoirs about his return to performing live, as he meditates honestly on growing older and the nature of stand-up.

Al Murray The Pub Landlord’s Book Of British Common Sense: The title speaks for itself.

All of the titles are out now, and we'll be featuring clips from many of them on the home page in the coming days – starting with Frank Skinner.

To stand a chance of winning one of the releases – or the whole caboodle – just answer the following question by December 15, when we will select the winners at random from all the correct entries. Bulk entries will be disallowed.
