Win festival tickets

Leicester hosts its own outdoor festival next month, with the Summer Sundae weekender promising the best in music and comedy. And we have a pair of weekend camping tickets to give away.

The cabaret tent at the event – in the grounds of De Montfort Hall – includes Brendon Burns, Rob Deering, Robin Ince and Andy Zaltzman.

While bands playing the festival, from August 14 to 16, include The Streets, Lightning Seeds, The Charlatans and The Zutons.

There is also a spoken word tent, chill-out area, Silent Disco, cinema tent and children’s area.

The comedy tent, programmed by the Leicester Comedy Festival and sponsored by eFestivals, also features Al Pitcher, Dan Nightingale, Markus Birdman, Hal Cruttenden and Martin Bigpig Mor.

Summer Sundae director Richard Haswell said: ‘Let's face it, some of today's bands can be a miserable lot at times, and people do sometimes want to get way from the music for a while and have a good laugh. The eFestivals comedy tent fulfilled that brief brilliantly in 2008 and was one of the highlights of the festival. So we are delighted that it is back again this year with expanded opening hours and an even greater range of comic talent.’

To stand a chance of winning our pair of tickets, just answer the following question by July 27, when the winner will be chosen at random from all answers given. Bulk entrants will be disqualified.

Good luck!
