Film debuts for Walsh and Larwood

Comics shoot family adventure 2:hrs

Seann Walsh and Marek Larwood have just finished shooting a family action adventure film in London.

2:hrs is about a selfish teenager, Tim, who finds out he has two hours to live, so races to finish his bucket list.

Described as an 'uplifting family action adventure', the film also stars Siobhan Redmond as Lena, the mad scientist based in the National History Museum who invented the machine which tells Tim about his mortality.

Director James Newton said: 'It's the kind of film that parents will want to see with their kids… It's about legacy, about the things you leave behind. Tim goes on a journey within 2hrs and realises that the things that seem important are not what you think they are.'

The comedians play characters called Graves and Tooley, although little more is known about them. However, they were shooting for three weeks, suggesting their roles are significant.

Tim is played by relative newcomer Harry Jarvis. Kirsty Dillon, who played DC Gail Stephens in Midsomer Murders, also has a role; while Roland Moore, writer of Land Girls and Rastamouse, has written the script.

Production company Makelight Productions posted on Instagram: 'Today we wrap on @seannwalsh and Marek Larwood. Our days have been made significantly funnier with them around. Also, so talented! Thank you both.'

Larwood tweeted: 'Bye @makelightfilms thanks for putting up with us both acting like pricks for the past three weeks.'

This would be the first feature film role for both comedians, although Walsh starred in the 2013 Comedy Central sitcom Big Bad World and Larwood has a string of credits to his name including We Are Klang, Laura Ben & Him, Sorry I've Got No Head and Man Down.

Producers of 2:hrs raised more than £15,000 to shoot the crucial scene at the National History Museum via fundraising site Viagogo.
