New documentary film about Jackie Martling

Here's a trailer for a new documentary about Jackie "The Joke Man" Martling, described as America's last great joke teller.  

With an expert memory for gags, the comic, now 75, was notably the head writer of the Howard Stern show for 18 years.

The film, out on video on demand next month, charts his career from his fledgling days of comedy on Long Island and features contributions from the likes of  Willie Nelson, Penn Jillette and  Artie Lange.

Described as 'a universal story of self-discovery, grit, and how humour is the biggest key to authentic happiness, Joke Man has been  directed  Ian Karr and goes straight to streaming, having not even been seen in film festivals.
