Stand-up on The Late Late Show

Maria Bamford performed stand-up on The Late Late Show with James Corden last night.

In her darkly funny set, the comic talked about her ambivalence to life – in contrast to her mum’s s ability to find joy in everything, including entering a hospice for Stage IV lung cancer.

She was nominally on the CBS show to promote her voice appearance in the new animated series Human Resources, a spin-off from Big Mouth, which launches on Netflix on March 18.

Bamford is coming to the UK for a brief tour next month.
