New YouTube series exploring race

Here's a trailer for Munya Chawawa's forthcoming YouTube Originals show.

In Massive Road Trip, the comic will tour the UK with various other social media stars to find out what Britain really knows about black culture.

He will hit Wales with Yung Filly, Manchester with Harry Pinero, Surrey with Nella Rose and Thanet – the Kent constituency where Nigel Farage stood – with Michael Dapaah.

Chawawa said: 'Race Around Britain has made me laugh, it’s made me cry, it’s kept me up till ungodly hours, but it is without a doubt my proudest satirical accomplishment and I’m so excited for the world to see it.

'Race is a subject many people can feel uncomfortable or nervous to talk about, but everyone loves to laugh - so I wanted to see what happens when you combine the two.

'Comedy, to me - is a superpower, and sometimes where sensible conversation fails us, I think it's the only thing that truly helps people understand one another.'

The series drops on December 6.
