Standing Up, Falling Down trailer

When the comedy dream doesn't work out...

A new trailer has just been released for Standing Up, Falling Down – a movie that tells of what happens when a failed stand-up returns home.

Ben Schwartz plays 34-year old Scott Rollins, who spent four years chasing his comedy dream in Los Angeles, but crashed and burned. Left with little money and even less in the way of a career, he has no choice but to return to his parents’ house in Long Island.

While trying to figure out what to do next, Scott pines after his ex, Becky (Eloise Mumford), a successful photographer who has since married a former mutual friend.

On a night out at the bar, Scott strikes up an unlikely friendship with an eccentric dermatologist, Marty (Billy Crystal), who has regrets of his own.

The movie had its premiere at the Napa Valley Film Festival, where it won the top award for best feature film, and is due for a US release later this year.
