In the Champions series

Daliso Chaponda returned to Britain's Got Talent last night for The Champions series.

The comic came third in the talent contest in the 2017 series, which was won by Tokio Myers.

The Malawian comic spoke about being single in a world built for couples and complained about the Brexit fiasco, saying: 'I had to go back to Africa to see what a stable government looks like.'

However, he did not make it through to the final of the Champions series, with places going to dance duo Twist and Pulse and singers Bars and Melody last night.
