First trailer

Amazon Prime has released a trailer for the second series of Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

And this time, Rachel Brosnahan’s well-heeled Manhattanite turned unlikely stand-up comedian heads to the Catskills to make her name.

The resorts in upstate New York, nicknamed the Borscht Belt, proved a nursery for many of the comedians who would spring to fame in the early days of TV, such as Shecky Greene Milton Berle, Henny Youngman, Sid Caesar and Jackie Mason.

Marvelous Mrs. Maisel also stars Tony Shalhoub as Midge’s father and Alex Borstein as a club manager.

No release date has yet been announced for season 2.
