Neil Gibbons – Original Review

Note: This review is from 2008

Review by Steve Bennett

Gibbons is an easy-going and likeable newer comic with a good range of amusing observational material.

Large sections of his routine, though, seem too willing to rely on the retelling of other people's humour (graffiti on toilet walls and Colemanballs, for example), rather than generating genuinely original content of his own.

A promising newcomer, though, who should soon be making serious inroads into the circuit, especially if he can increase his range of material.
