Review by Steve Bennett

This formidable looking, loud Aussie is that social pariah: a banned drink-driver. The title of his show refers to the Australian blood alcohol limit, but it's a bit meaningless over here.

Here he tries to put his conviction into the context of his lifestyle, which mainly seems to involve drinking, dope, travelling and cricket - with a bit of porn thrown in for good measure.

It's a slightly primitive view of the world, and one that doesn't travel particularly well from pub anecdote to fully-fledged Edinburgh show, although Butler does share some amusing stories about his encounters with a Chinese Basil Fawlty and Shane Waugh's mum.

But Butler is a likeable presence, and can play a decent guitar. However, his uninspired choice of material detracts from his talents, and merely panders to the stereotypical misogynistic Australian meathead.
