Jill Peacock is Glamorous

Jill Peacock is not glamorous. Neither is she funny, entertaining, or charming. In fact, embarrassing probably just about covers it.

If you thing the very idea of a few graceless women prancing like idiots around a stage is the very apex of comedy, then this may just be for you. But even so, French and Saunders have done it infinitely better, and it wasn't particularly successful even then.

This artless dancing is interspersed with video footage purporting to show the audition and rehearsal stages of the show, and something I can only assume was meant to be stand-up comedy from Ms Peacock.

In fact, the only good moment in the otherwise bleak hour came from the video - a clip of Craig Hill doing his trademark Julie Andrews schtick, just to remind the hapless audience of what entertainment is supposed to be like.

If you ever want proof that critics are just failed comedians, look no further. For Peacock, the comedy writer for a Scottish website, certainly fails spectacularly.

And the shameful way she humiliated an innocent punter during her awful and embarrassing stripper routine that closed the show was simply unforgivable.

But it was nothing less than could be expected from such a pitifully low-rent show. I felt cheapened just watching it.
