Comics' clips spark concern

Here are a couple of stand-ups talking about a new notion called ‘prompt theory’ – the idea some people have that they are AI creations formed from bots being fed the right bots.

The comics are part of a montage of clips mocking the ridiculous belief, from vox pops to documentaries, to political campaigns to angry street protesters.

And the scariest thing – in case you hadn’t guessed – is that the footage was all generated entirely by artificial intelligence,

Hashem Al-Ghaili created the ultra-realistic videos using Google’s VEO-3 platform, prompting concern and online. 

One viewer on YouTube said: Why do I get a creepy feeling this is going to go in a very gruesome direction.’

Another said: 'This is the first time in my life where I feel like I’m truly living through an unprecedented moment in history and it’s not a good thing.’

Or simply: 'I don’t want this.’
