Harry Hill: A famous comic wanted me to look at his genital warts

The former doctor declined...

comedyFormer doctor Harry Hill has revealed ‘very famous’ comic once asked him to look at his genital warts.

The comic – who quit medicine after winning the 1992 Perrier Award for best newcomer – said he was approached at the Edinburgh Fringe by a colleague who’s now a big star.

Talking to the Guardian, he said: ‘One comedian – who I won’t name, but he’s better known than you might think – once tried to show me his genital warts at a urinal in the Edinburgh festival.

‘I had no expertise in that area, so I refused to examine the appendage in question.’
