Comic paints a face on her baby bump and dances on stage to Sheryl Crowe..

comedyAisling Bea has announced her pregnancy.

She broke the news ina typically silly way – by drawing a face on her baby bump and dancing on stage with Sheryl Crowe.

Bea and fellow stand-up Seth Herzog both displayed their tummies as scene-stealing backing dancers for Crowe at the Big Slick Celebrity Weekend in Kansas City.

The comic posted the footage on Instagram saying: ‘Sheryl said myself & Seth could be her very professional back up dancers with our ridiculous idea. How on brand! She really does just wanna have some fun, yawl.’’

Another picture showed her withTaylor Swift’s boyfriend, the NFL star Travis Kelce, while the post also took a pop at the youthful looks of Paul Rudd, her co-star in the 2019 Netflix series Living With Yourself.

‘Dignity intact. Got pregnant so I could try and put something beside Paul Rudd’s face to make him look older,’ she joked.

The comedian then warned her 800,000 followers: ‘If you use sharpie pen on your skin, it will be there for about two days. Just if you are weighing up what a commitment to an idea is worth. Gentle dermatitis is the answer.’

And clarifying she wasn’t just bloated in the photos, Bea later added in the caption: ‘To save myself admin. Yes I am pregnant. This time it’s not a joke about bread.’

Friends  were quick to congratulate the 40-year-old comic, including Derry Girls and Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan, comedians Jess Fostekew, Sikisa and Tiff Stevenson.

Nish Kumar posted: ‘Will you finally commit to naming this baby Nish.’

And Amy Huberman asked: ‘Is that the face the baby will have now?! I did not know it worked like this!’

Bea has been dating her musician Jack Freeman – the Foals and Jagwar Ma bassist – for at least two years.
