Did Harry Styles really sit for a portrait by Joe Lycett?
If so, it didn't end well...
Joe Lycett has unveiled a portrait of Harry Styles – after claiming the musician personally sat for him.
And in a tongue-in-cheek social media post, the comedian joked that he had been approached by the former One Direction star’s team to create the artwork, but things didn’t go according to plan.
Claiming that Styles sat for two days at the comic’s ‘holiday home in Padstow’, Lycett added: ‘I thought I’d done a good job of the pic but his management were quite cross and one of them said "it’s Harry Styles not Jeremy Beadle’s face on a fucking egg".

A few months ago I was contacted by management for Harry Styles asking whether I would consider doing his portrait. I didn’t really know of his celebrity at the time so I said yes but I wish I hadn’t cause the whole thing has been a disaster.

The photograph he actually used was a doctored one showing David Hockney painting the star, into which Lycett had put his own portrait.
Earlier in the week, the comedian put a painting featuring Gary Lineker on sale for an ambitious £1,354,999.
The painting - I Drink A Crisp, Cold Beer In A Pool In Los Angeles While Gary Lineker Looks On In Disgust – has made the Royal Academy’s famed Summer Exhibition.
The price just happens to be Lineker’s BBC salary, according to reports the broadcaster is obliged to publish.
It is the second piece Lycett has had accepted by the prestigious London gallery. His bust called Chris - made out of clay and a Pringles can - was also put on show at the Summer Exhibition, with the comedian attaching a £12million price tag.
