Nags Head to be recreated to mark 40 years of Only Fools And Horses

comedyOnly Fools and Horses fans will be able to have a pint in the Nags Head next month – and only pay 1980s prices.

TV channel Gold is to recreate Del Boy and Rodney’s local boozer as a two-day-only pop up to mark the 40th anniversary of the sitcom. The artist’s impressions, above, shows how it will look.

Patrons will be able to purchase a drink for 83p – either a pint, crème ‘de  la’ menthe or Britvic orange – along with 1980s bar snacks such as pork scratchings, scampi fries and cheeselets.

The Nags Head will be open for business in the Farringdon area of London  on  September 3 and 4 only and fans can apply for free entrance tickets here. Sadly visits are limited to 45 minutes.

Gold will be showing the very first episode of the hit comedy at 8.30pm on Wednesday  September 8 – the exact same date and time that it aired in 1981, followed by every episode over the rest of the month.
