Ed Gamble and James Acaster announce Off Menu gigs at the London Palladium
...as does Lucy Beaumont
Ed Gamble and James Acaster’s Off Menu podcast is to play two nights at the London Palladium next year.
The dates on March 21 and 22 next year were announced today as the show returns for a new 20-episode series, withAlma’s Not Normal star Sophie Willan as the first guest of series 12.
Gamble said: ‘We’re positively drooling at the thought of getting the podcast back out on stage. Also, Benito [their producer Ben Williams] refused to give me back my insulin until we agreed to do it.’
Acaster added: 'Dreams can come true. Look at me babe, I’m with you. You know you gotta have hope. You know you gotta be strong.. See you at the Palladium, everybody!’
The pair previously took the podcast on a successful live tour of the UK last year.
Tickets for the Palladium gig go on general sale at 10am on Friday
• Lucy Beaumont has also announced a gig at the Palladium – on Friday October 4 – as part of her ongoing stand-up tour The Trouble and Strife. Tickets for this also go on sale on Friday. A previous performance of the tour, recorded at the Royal Court Theatre in London, will be airing on Sky Comedy this summer.
