Comics show off their cooking skills
...in a new C4 digital series
Kerry Godliman, Suzi Ruffell, Lou Sanders, Alex Brooker and Phil Wang are all showing off their cooking skills in a new digital series for Channel 4.
Flex Kitchen asks the comics to change their usual go-to dish to accommodate the diets of their customers.
In episode one, which dropped on YouTube yesterday, Godliman had to adapt spanakopita - a Greek pie containing spinach and feta cheese - for a rugby team who are all vegan.
She said: ‘I had a fantastic time on Flex Kitchen. If you ignore the fact that the rugby team I was cooking for didn’t fancy what I was going to make, I had to cook outside and I had to share the kitchen with a talking microwave.’
The series – a tie-in with Heinz, so look out for the product placement – also features a talking microwave voiced by comedian Adam Riches.
