John Bishop to host Teenage Cancer Trust benefit

Royal Albert Hall gig returns for another year

John Bishop is to host this year’s  Teenage Cancer Trust comedy night at London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The comic will front the gig on Tuesday March 24,  as part of a week of events for the charity.

Stereophonics and Paul Weller will play on March 25, then Groove Armada, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds,  The Who  and Nile Rodgers & Chic on subsequent nights.

Bishop appeared on the line-up of last year's show, which was hosted by Kevin Bridges and also featured Kerry Godliman, Romesh Ranganathan, and Tommy Tiernan.

The rest of this year’s line-up is yet to be announced.

Tickets go on sale at 9:30am this Friday.
