Comic, 80, held at climate change protest
Lily Tomlin has been arrested during a climate change protest, it has been reported.
The 80-year-old comedian was held after she and a dozen other demonstrators occupied the steps of the Capitol after a rally organised by her Grace & Frankie co-star Jane Fonda.
‘We have got to stop hugging and start saving the trees,’ Tomlin told the crowd before her arrest, according to Deadline.
Footage on Twitter shows her being led away by police with her hands bound.
