Amused Moose starts its 2020 new act hunt

Amused Moose Comedy has launched its annual talent hunt for new comedians.

The national new comic award has previously been won by Sarah Millican, Jack Whitehall and Rob Beckett

Hopefuls need to supply a clip of themselves performing on stage by mid-January, with the top 50 taking part in semi-finals in London in February, March and April,  with the final taking place  during the Edinburgh Fringe in August.

There is no cash prize for the award, but the chance to be seen by agents, promoters, bookers, producers, and critics
