Recording 'wrongly advertised' as an As Yet Untitled comeback

The Dave TV channel has denied that Alan Davies’s As Yet Untitled is due to return - even though a recording has been advertised for tomorrow.

According to ApplauseStore, which organises audiences for TV recordings, the comic is to tape a one-off special of the chat show at London’s Museum Of Comedy tomorrow lunchtime.

But a publicist for the broadcaster has said the event is nothing to do with them, and shouldn’t have been advertised as such.

The recording is being advertised under the As Yet Untitled banner, and the blurb says: ‘You are invited to join us at this exclusive recording of this hit comedy panel show starring Alan Davies as the master of ceremonies. Joining him are three of the biggest brightest names in comedy. Alan is armed with an interesting fact about each of his guests after that the conversation could go anywhere.’

Davies recorded 46 episodes of  As Yet Untitled for Dave between 2014 and 2017.
