The Pleasance has announce a new wave of performers for this year’s Edinburgh Fringe, with another 139 shows across comedy and theatre.
Among the better-known names, Kristen Schaal will bring her latest show, The Legend of Crystal Shell to the venue for a four-night run. Joe Lycett is set to host a mixed bill of stand-up for a five night tun, while Ruby Wax returns with Absolutely Famous, drawing on stories from her career.

Saturday Night Live’s Larry Dean will present Hellbent, and Rhys James brings Chop Logic. Mark Watson is due to perform a short run of Before It Overtakes Us. Sam Nicoresti also returns, reprising the show that won her the main Edinburgh Comedy Award last year, Baby Doomer.
Elsewhere, Selina Mosinski revisits her past in a character-led set, while Spencer Jones presents Dogs and Li Jin Hao performs Falling From A Moon. Frankie Thompson, Kemah Bob and Kate Butch are also among those appearing, as is Rosie Holt, who reprises her MP persona.
Several acts from last year are returning, including Elouise Eftos, Hasan Al-Habib and Amelia Hamilton, Sharon Wanjohi, Rory Marshall and Sophie Garrad.
Newcomers to the programme include Freddie Meredith, Emma Doran, Abby Govindan, Tom Towelling, Harriet Richardson and Mario Adrion.
Also on sale now are sketch groups such as Crybabies, Britney and Metroland, alongside twin duo Hugo and Patrick McPherson, who perform as Pear.
Chortle's Fast Fringe will also be retunting for its daily whirlwind of festival acts (tickets)
Pleasance announced their programme additions ahead of the next official drop of Fringe shows tomorrow, when the festival’s organisers put hundreds of shows on sale.
