Cruz Beckham likes comic's meme about the family row

Watch Olly Hume's gag about the Brooklyn fall-out

comedyAn internet comedian has found himself part of the story surrounding the Beckham family row – after posting a joke video about the hoo-ha.

When Olly Hume read that Victoria danced ‘inappropriately’ ‘on’ Brooklyn during his wedding day, he posted this video on Instagram and TikTok, suggesting that they had grinded to Ginuwine’s raunchy track Pony:

But then things took a turn for the weird when Brooklyn’s brother Cruz ‘liked’ the video.

People were quick to to notice that among the many memes related about the family crisis, Cruz had responded to this one, which captioned: ‘Interesting moves Victoria’. Comments included: ‘The fact Cruz has liked this!’

Cruz  has stayed loyal to the rest of the family after Brooklyn, 26, distanced himself from the clan following his marriage to model and socialite Nicola Peltz, 31, in 2022.

On Monday Brooklyn inflamed the situation with a post on social media saying: ‘‘My mum hijacked my first dance with my wife, which had been planned weeks in advance to a romantic love song. In front of our 500 wedding guests, [DJ} Marc Anthony called me to the stage, where in the schedule was planned to be my romantic dance with my wife but instead my mum was waiting to dance with me instead.

‘She danced very inappropriately on me in front of everyone, I’ve never felt more uncomfortable or humiliated in my entire life. We wanted to renew our vows so we could create new memories of our wedding day that bring us joy and happiness, not anxiety and embarrassment.’

Hume – who posts as olly_100 on Instagram and Olly_Sketches on TikTok –  has previously written on The John Bishop Show and worked as a producer on A League Of Their Own and Comedy Cenral’s Guessable.
