15 shows available under deal with NextUp

Fifteen Edinburgh Fringe comedy shows are to be made available on Samsung smart TVs.

The electronics giant has signed a deal with comedy streamer Next Up to put the shows on its on-demand service, with a new one dropping at 8pm every day, starting tonight. 

The shows being distributed on Samsung TV Plus will include:

• Lucy Pearman: Lunartic
• Molly McGuinness: Slob
• Jessie Nixon: Don't Make Me Regret This
• Diona Doherty: Get Your Pink Back!
• Tadiwa Mahlunge: Hakuna Ma Tada
• Sam Nicoresti: Baby Doomer (pictured)
• Josh Glanc: Family Man
• Ayoade Bamgboye: Swings and Roundabouts
• Graham and Steen
• Andrew O’Neill: Escape
• Rosco Mcclelland: How Could Hell Be Any Worse?

Stuart Pearson, head of UK content acquisition for the platform, said: ‘We’re beyond excited to support these extraordinary new acts by bringing them an even bigger and broader audience, as well as have the opportunity to connect our audiences with high quality entertainment; enabling viewers get a front row seat to the next wave of comedy superstars.’
