Chloe Petts to make her Have I Got News For You debut

Comic on the topical show next month

Chloe Petts is to make her Have I Got News for You debut next month.

The comedian, who is currently at Melbourne for the international comedy festival, will be on Ian Hislop's team on the May 3 episode.

On the opposing team will be BBC correspondent Lyse Doucet, also making her first appearance on the programme. The guest host has yet to be announced.

Petts’ previous TV appearances include Hypothetical, Jonathan Ross' Comedy Club, Pointless Celebrities and Richard Osman's House of Games.

She has also recorded a forthcoming a Radio 4 series, Chloe Petts' Toilet Humour, about the history of the loo a from the latrines of Ancient Rome to ‘whatever George Michael was getting up to in the 1990s’.

Petts is in Australia with her stand-up show If You Can't Say Anything Nice, and will unveil the follow-up – How You See Me, How You Don’t – at the Edinburgh Fringe in August.
