Filming wraps on series three

Julia Davis and Charlie Cooper are to make guest appearances on the third series of Stath Lets Flats, Channel 4 has announced.

Filming has just wrapped on Jamie Demetriou’s Bafta-winning comedy, which picks up where the last ended: with his title character having to rescue the family business.

Davis will play Kris, the belittling and snobbish sister of Katy Wix’s character Carole; while This Country co-creator Cooper plays Gregory - a lettings agent who is passionately devoted to his wife and runs a rival agency called Live Love Lets.

Also making a guest appearance when the series airs later this years is David Avery, whose credits include The Night Manager and We Are Lady Parts, who plays Bambos, Stath’s flash barber cousin.

The returning cast includes Natasia Demetriou, Kiell Smith-Bynoe, Ellie White, Al Roberts and Christos Stergioglou – while Nick Mohammed, David Mumeni and Tom Stourton will be reprising their guest roles.

Demetriou said: ‘Times are the worst they have been in living memory, but fear not, a sitcom about a lettings agency is back for a third series!

‘All the characters (bar a few who had availability issues) are back and saying stuff all over again! Get ready to hear what they say! Listen closely and you might even hear a thing or two from some new celebrated guest stars. Did somebody say…. the whole England football team?? No, it’ll be comedy actors.’
