Ready To Mingle to run this autumn

Katherine Ryan is to host a new ITV2 dating game show Ready To Mingle.

The series, which will run for 19 hour-long episodes in the autumn, follows a single girl trying to choose her perfect partner from 12 suitors while they are all holed up together in a luxurious house.

But the twist is not all the boys are single, with some of them guided by their partners in pursuit of the cash prize.

Ryan said: ‘I am so excited to be a part of this new dating game show. How could I say no? It’s like nothing we’ve seen before but still with all the drama and dating dilemmas we love to see, and I’ll be there front row as it all unfolds.’

Paul Mortimer, head of digital channels at ITV, added: ‘I'm so pleased that the amazing Katherine Ryan will be presiding over the game. Katherine's unique sense of humour coupled with all the drama of this new dating show ought to make for a binge-ably entertaining watch.’

ITV2’s programming slate also includes fellow dating shows Love Island, Dinner Date, Secret Crush, Singletown and The Cabins, which has today been commissioned for a second series too.

The broadcast of Ready To Mingle will come at about the same time as her new stand-up tour, Missus, which has just added extra dates.
