A Smooth performance from Bill Bailey

Comic ends up mid-table in Strictly

Bill Bailey has had another successful week on Strictly Come Dancing, but not quite as spectacular as his Rappers' Delight routine last week.

He and dance partner Oti Mabuse scored a decent 25 points from the three judges for their American Smooth  to Frank Sinatra's I've Got You Under My Skin, placing them firmly mid-table.

Judge Shirley Ballas thanked the pair 'for opening the show with such finesse' and awarded nine points.

Giving an eight, Anton Du Beke praised their partnering skills and added: 'I feel like we are in heaven...You had a beautiful quality across the floor. I loved it'

While Craig Revel Horwood praised the comedians 'extraordinary handshaping' and also awarded an eight.

Bailey's son Dax also appeared on video during this week's episode to tell his dad: 'I don't know how you got so far being so clumsy!'
