LONDON: The New Normal festival kicks off in the walled courtyard of the Royal Victoria Patriotic Building in Clapham. It will offer theatre, comedy, music and more, with improv troupe CSI: Crime Scene Improvisation opening the socially distanced fun. Full listings are here.

BRIGHTON: Favourite Brighton Fringe venue The Warren opens an outdoor summer venue on the beach, right next to the Pier - which is sure to be less worryingly crowded than the rest of the seafront. It kicks off with the silly clowning show Privates: A Sperm Odyssey (pictured), all about the terrifying ordeal of the plucky gametes. Warren website

BLENHEIM PALACE: Country Mile comedy club puts on another strong bill in the lavish Oxfordshire country estate, with Harriet Kemsley, Helen Bauer, Njambi McGrath, Phil Wang and Pierre Novellie. Tickets are £31.50,but that does include a food hamper.
