Armstrong and Miller could reunite with a sitcom

'We're working on ideas'

Alexander Armstrong and Ben Miller are reportedly working together on a new sitcom.

The pair have not collaborated on a major project for more than a decade,  with the last series of The Armstrong & Miller Show airing on BBC One in October 2010.

That was immediately followed by a tour, but since then they have largely focussed on solo project, with Armstrong hosting Pointless and recording musical albums, and Miller starring in Death in Paradise and writing popular science books.

However, last year they reunited to present a one-off show called We Are Most Amused and Amazed to mark the 70th birthday of Prince Charles.

Now Miller told the Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine that they have the more substantial proposition of a sitcom in the pipeline – though he admitted it’s still early days.

‘We’re working on ideas but want to know it’s all right before we show anyone,’  he said.
