James Acaster records ANOTHER special

...made of material that didn't make it into his latest tour

James Acaster is earning his reputation as the most prolific stand-up in comedy by filming another new special.

And it’s not even his current stand-up tour Cold Lasagne Hate Myself 1999 - but comprises material that didn’t make it into that show.

Acaster said: ‘I wrote a new show and it was too long so I took out all the stuff that didn’t fit with the theme and made a separate show out of it that I’m going to film and release on its own.

‘If you’d like to come and see me film that show, then come to this because this is that show.’

He will be taping two performances at Earth in Dalston, East London, on March 12, with a warm-up the previous night. Tickets are available here.

The new show comes a year after he released four hour-long specials on Netflix on the same day.

It is being filmed by independent production company Turtle Canyon, but there is no work yet on where it will be broadcast or sold.

Meanwhile, his new panel show Hypothetical – which he co-hosts with Josh Widdicombe – starts on Dave on February 6, while a new episode of his podcast Off Menu, with Ed Gamble, was released today.

He returns to the West End with another run of Cold Lasagne Hate Myself 1999 at the Vaudeville Theatre at the end of February, before embarking on a UK tour. Dates
