Where can you see the new League Of Gentlemen first?
New episodes of The League of Gentlemen are to get their world premiere … in Hartlepool.
The BBC is holding a free screening of the comedy next month as part of a tour of the North of England primarily designed to reveal the Doctor Who Christmas special.
The sci-fi show – the last to feature Peter Capaldi as the Time Lord – will be screened at eight towns across the region from December 14 to 21.
And on the first two nights, at Hartlepool Town Hall and The Guild Hall in York, it will be followed by The League of Gentlemen.
Mark Gatiss appears in both shows, guesting as the Captain in Doctor Who and alongside Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith in the comedy series they all wrote with Jeremy Dyson.
Adrian Mills, General Manager of BBC North says: ‘We can’t wait to bring this wonderful seasonal programming direct to our audiences in the north and we’re sure they’ll enjoy this exclusive BBC content.’
Free tickets will be available through a ballot which opens today here.
