Russell Howard curates a festival

In aid of breast cancer charity

Russell Howard is curating a comedy festival line-up in aid of a breast cancer charity.

He will be appearing alongside Lloyd Langford, Jayde Adams, Legs Akimbo, Steve Hall and Abandoman at the Festifeel event in London next month.

It is a boutique music and comedy festival benefitting the CoppaFeel! charity, founded in  2009 by Kristin Hallenga, who was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer at 23.  The charity educates young people on the importance of checking their boobs regularly and knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.

Earlier this year Howard took part in a ‘celebrity boob ball’ tournament similar to dodgeball – but using rubber breasts in place of the usual balls – for the charity.

The comic became involved in tCoppaFeel! after Hallenga appeared on his Good News show last year and hit him in the face with one of the plastic knockers

Fearne Cotton is curating the music side of Festifeel, which includes Stereophonics, Rae Morris and DJ sets from Sophie Elis-Bexter and – surprisingly – Gok Wan.

The event takes place at House Of Vans, in the arches beneath Waterloo Station, on  October 8. Click here for tickets, priced £40.
