With Elis James

Milton Jones and Elis James are to star in a new sitcom written by Bluestone 42 co-creator James Cary.

Be Lucky is being made for BBC Radio Wales and will also feature former EastEnders star Jo Joyner.

James will play Dylan, a man happy in his own company who wants to be left alone,  but is  constantly interrupted and sucked into extraordinary events.

And Jones will be playing a character called Gabriel, an opportunistic postman who’ll do anything for a quick buck..

Cary has previously written four series of  Radio 4’s Another Case of Milton Jones with the stand-up, as well as working on Miranda and creating the radio comedy  Hut 33.

The show is being recorded at the Pleasance in Islington on September 7 and 9.  Click here for tickets.
