Showcasing 'his' rollerskating moves

Simon Bird is starring a new series of adverts for the Post Office.

The Inbetweeners star appears to be pulling off some impressive roller-skating moves in the 40-second commercial, which starts airing on TV tonight.

The campaign, from agency DLKW Lowe, is to promote the holiday money and travel insurance sold by the Post Office, and has the catchline 'feel good before you go'.

Bird said: 'It's a pleasure to be a part of this campaign and work with a well-loved national institution like the Post Office. I jumped at the chance to dust off my wheels and dip into my now-legendary portfolio of ice-cool, popping-fresh dance moves.'

Pete Markey, the Post Office's chief marketing officer, added: 'The new campaign puts the focus firmly on the customer, showcasing the positive transformative effect the Post Office can have.'

Bird has previously provided the voiceover for Thetrainline's TV advertising campaign.
