Miranda to interview Sir Bruce
Show marks his 70 years in showbiz
Miranda Hart is to interview Sir Bruce Forsyth in an hour-long show to celebrate his 70 years in showbusiness.
When Miranda Met Bruce will be filmed in Studio One at the soon-to-be-closed BBC Television Centre, where Strictly Come Dancing is filmed.
As well as the interview, the BBC One show will feature a mixture of archive material and special performances – including a finale involving both Miranda and Sir Bruce.
The in-house commission from the channel’s controller Danny Cohen and BBC entertainment commissioner Mirella Breda was announced today.
