Charlie Sheen, stand-up?
Comedy tour for Two And A Half Men star
Many would say he appears to be going though a mental breakdown… so what better job for Charlie Sheen than stand-up comedian?
The sacked Two And A Half Men star has announced two dates for a new live comedy show, entitled My Violent Torpedo Of Truth/Defeat Is Not An Option.
He will be performing the show, which will no doubt give his side of the turmoil on the hit sitcom sparked by his going into rehab, in Detroit on April 2 and Chicago on April 3. Sheen announced the news on his newly established Twitter feed, which has amassed 2.5million followers.
The announcement comes after he recorded a comedy sketch for the Funny Or Die website called Winning Recipes, which has already chalked up 1.7million views.
Sheen also plans to sue Two and Half Men’s Chuck Lorre and producers Warner Brothers for more than $100million for breach of contract.
Lorre’s lawyer said: ‘The allegations in the complaint against Mr. Lorre are as recklessly false and unwarranted as Mr. Sheen's rantings in the media.’
