Todd Margaret to make more poor decisions

Sitcom renewed for second series

The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret has been commissioned for a second series.

The sitcom, which was created by and stars Arrested Development’s David Cross, is an British-American co-production, which aired on More4 late last year.

Now the US partner, IFC, has announced that work will begin on another six episodes in April, ready to air in America in October.

‘Todd Margaret personifies the type of offbeat comedy IFC brings to viewers,’ said Debbie DeMontreux, the broadcaster's senior vice president of original programming. ‘David is one of the pioneers of alt comedy, a genre IFC is quickly becoming known for.’

Cross added than in the next series: ‘Questions will be answered and secrets revealed all while the mystery heads towards a deep, shuddering, and very satisfying climax.'

'I am excited to continue the story that was merely hinted at last season.'

The sitcom, about a hapless US executive mistakenly dispatched to London to launch an energy drink in London, also co-starred Sharon Horgan, Will Arnett and Janeane Garofalo It was co-written by British writer Shaun Pye.
