Merry faacking Christmas

Tate's nan to star in festive special

Catherine Tate is reportedly working on a Christmas special for the BBC, two years after her last sketch show.

The one-off is to be a spoof version of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, with foul-mouthed Nan Taylor playing Scrooge, The Sun reports.

The BBC Christmas line-up is also likely to include another Royle Family special, following the success of last year’s festive offering.
