BBC4 gets more Answers

Full series for Mark Watson's quiz

BBC Four has ordered 13 more episodes of Mark Waton's offbeat quiz show We Need Answers.

The channel perviously piloted a three-part trial run, based on shows first performed at the Edinburgh Fringe, and now decided to go for a full series.

In the show, Watson is joined by Tim Key, who poses questions sent in by the public to text question-and-answer services, and Alex Horne, who keeps score and produces PowerPoint slides to illustrate the games.

BBC Four controller Richard Klein said: 'I am delighted that We Need Answers is coming back. The show is a smart way of playing with the whole entertainment quiz genre, and Mark, Alex and Tim are an anarchic but genuinely funny team on the show – even if they still don't quite understand the questions).

The series will be transmitted later this year.
