Carry On actress dies at 74
Carry On actress Dilys Laye has died at the age of 74.She made her name in theatrical revues in the Fifties before appearing in Carry On Doctor, Carry On Cruising, Carry On Spying and Carry On Camping. She also appeared in the St Trinian’s films.
In the Eighties she appeared in ITV comedy series Chintz, which she also co-wrote.
Laye had been suffering from cancer before her death last Friday.
