Making his Marc on America

Comic's bizarre road trip

American comedian Marc Horowitz has driven across the US, following the route determined by his signature on a map.

His unusual road trip is being documented in a twice-weekly series broadcast on the Crackle website.

He will be making 20 stops en route, with the goal of improving the lives of the people he encounters in unconventional ways.

His tasks have included campaigning to get the town of Battle Mountain, Nevada, to change its menacing name; offering breakfast in bed to the residents of one Wyoming town; and asking people to ‘bury their problems’ at a ceremony in a makeshift cemetery.

Horowitz said: ‘People always talk about leaving their mark on the world, and that’s just what I’m doing here. It’s been an absolute riot to hit the road.’
