Punter collapses in Fringe show

A man collapsed, apparently dead, during Jim Jeffries’ Edinburgh show on Friday night.

The show was halted and an ambulance called when the Fringe-goer’s head jerked back and his body went lifeless.

It turned out to be an epileptic attack – even though the middle-aged man had never previously suffered from the condition.

Jeffries said: ‘I really thought he’d died when his head went back.

‘And while the guy was recovering in the ambulance, his mate came back to watch the end of the show – which was weird.’
