He's a lady
Robbie Williams is to appear as a ‘rubbish transvestite’ in a Little Britain DVD for Comic Relief.
In the sketch, the former Take That singer stumbles into a shop run by David Walliams’s Emily and Matt Lucas’s Florence, looking for a menswear store.
But instead they convince him he’d look good in a frock, false breasts and a curly wig – and he skips off with the catchphrase: “I’m a lady”
Sir Elton John, George Michael, Simon Callow and Trisha Goddard also appear in the fundraising disc, out on February 14.
Vicky Pollard makes an appearance on Trisha’s TV show; wheelchair-user Andy gets to meet Michael, before deciding he doesn’t like him; and Sir Elton is interviewed by "only gay in the village" Daffyd.
Lucas said: “We never thought they would throw themselves into it with quite so much enthusiasm. Some of them, not mentioning any names Robbie, haven't been the same since."
The 45-minute disc will also include unseen outtakes from the show and £3.40 of the £4.99 price will go direct to Comic Relief.
It will be available only from HMV. Click here to preorder.
