Barschak's court rap

Comic late for pre-trial hearing

Comedy Terrorist Aaron Barschak has been told off after oversleeping and missing a court appointment.

The 37-year-old, who hit the headlines when he gatecrashed Prince William's 21st birthday party, was 90 minutes late for a pre-trial hearing at Oxford Magistrates Court today.

He is facing a charge of criminal damage for allegedly throwing red paint over a piece of art by the Turner-nominated Chapman brothers in the Modern Art Oxford gallery in May.

Court clerk Colin Webster warned Barschak that he could have been in breach of his bail, but the court accepted his apology for oversleepin.

Barschak, who faces no charges for his Windsor Castle stunt, faces trial on October 30.
