Sitcom's £2m festive special

Absolutely Fabulous is reportedly returning for a one-off Christmas show.

Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley will each receive around £200,000 for the episode, according to The Sun.

The hour-long special - costing £2million - will be filmed in New York over ten days next month.

Ab Fab is increasingly popular in the States, and Saunders and Lumley were recently honoured during the Big Apple's gay pride week.

Saunders is also looking for an actor to play her son - who will reveal he is gay.
